The COVID-19 virus is currently affecting many regions around the world and our thoughts are with everyone impacted around the globe. At the same time, we want to assure that the safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees is our primary focus, and the highest level of preventative and hygiene measures have been implemented to ensure we operate with the world-class safety, quality and service standards you have every right to expect as a guest of an Urban Resort Concepts hotel.
In accordance with recommended guidelines following the implementation of Malaysia’s Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) issued by the local government to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 infections, the hotel is currently unable to accommodate guests. This includes a temporary closure of the hotel’s restaurants, bars, UR SPA and the swimming pool. As an elevated measure, we will re-mobilise the hotel and re-open booking channels on August 1, 2020, once we have ensured it is entirely safe to do so.
We have always set out to offer a guest-centric Hostmanship™ experience that is human, intuitive, inclusive and generous and now more than ever, there is an even greater need to adapt to the needs of our guests and extend flexibility for travelling in these uncertain times. For all new bookings made after April 17, 2020, we will therefore be on-hand to assist with postponing the stay to any date before December 29, 2021 without any charges while honouring the original rates (or applying the best flexible rate pertaining to the revised date, whichever is lower).
Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third parties are advised to contact their booking provider for clarification on their policies.
We are following and adjusting to the latest available guidelines from Government and Health authorities, as well as the WHO and we continue to vigilantly monitor an evolving situation.
